We are proud to unfurl our fourth green flag for Rathmore NS

We would like to thank everyone who made this possible, the pupils, parents and staff of the school as well as our wider community in Rathmore.

We would also like to thank everyone at An Taisce for all their help through the years and for the fabulous awards ceremony recently attended by 5th & 6th class as our school representatives.

Amazing Adaptations & Champions of Conservation

We've had an amazing animal filled year with Dublin Zoo (did you know that Dublin Zoo is one of the oldest in Europe opening in 1830)

We learned how animals adapt to survive in the wild, we studied all these amazing animals and took a virtual tour of the zoo!

We learned all about conservation and endangered species and now we're going to go to the zoo for real and we can't wait. While we are there we will take the Rainforest Rangers course, I wonder what we'll learn about this time?
